Essence Atelier Home was born from a love of homes with history — the quiet character of European country houses, where objects gathered over time live naturally alongside one another.
We believe the things we keep around us become part of our own history too. They are there as meals are shared, families grow and ordinary days become memories.
From our atelier in Switzerland, we create each piece by hand with a sense of weight, texture and familiarity. Objects made to belong from the beginning, and to remain as the life of a home unfolds around them.

Every Essence piece begins in our atelier in Switzerland. From casting and sanding to pouring, painting and finishing, much of the process is done slowly by hand, giving each object its own subtle variations in colour, texture and finish.
We work with materials chosen for the way they look, feel and live within the home: from mineral-based Jesmonite to soy wax, natural mica and carefully selected fragrances.
The result is never perfectly uniform. It carries the small marks of the making process, part of what gives each piece its familiar character.
